Malinowski: Sheikh Ali Salman Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for a Speech

Bahrain Mirror: Tom Malinowski, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, said that Bahrain's opposition leader, Sheikh Ali Salman, was "sentenced to 4 years in prison for a speech."
Malinowski stressed in a tweet he posted on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, that "no one should be prosecuted for peaceful expression."
