Bahrain Mirror: The US embassy in Bahrain said that there are no justifications for deadly attacks such as the one that took place [in Sitra], and called for self-restraint, stressing on the necessity that all the factions of the Bahraini society refrain from violence and incitement of violence and contribute to creating an atmosphere suitable for reconciliation and building trust.

The US embassy added in a statement issued on Tuesday (July 28, 2015) that the United States strongly condemns the blast that targeted a police vehicle in Sitra, leaving at least two police officers dead and others injured.

The embassy extended sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late policemen: "Our hearts are with those who will find themselves in mourning due to this heinous crime and we wish speedy recovery to the injured."
