BCHR: 22 Arbitrary Arrests within First Week of September

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The monitoring team of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said it monitored 22 arbitrary arrests, including 2 children, within the period between August 31 and September 5, 2015. Three citizens were released later on.
The BCHR added in a statement on Tuesday (September 8, 2015) that 10 citizens were arrested in house raids, 4 after being summoned for questioning, 2 from Jaw prison, 2 at the Bahrain International Airport, 2 others on the street, one from court and another from Dry Dock Prison.
"The authorities renewed the detention of 13 detainees, including a woman, and sentenced 6 others to 10 years in prison," said the BCHR, concluding its statement.
