Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Minister of Information Affairs, Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi, said that the royal directive to form a smaller cabinet will take place by reshuffling the current one through merging a number of ministries and government bodies.
"This step will further reduce government spending which clearly indicates that the government has started with itself," Al-Hammadi added.
The King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has directed the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to form a smaller cabinet in consultation with the Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa "to solve current financial situations affected by the drop in oil prices and other obligations."
