Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said that Iran seeks to reach Bahrain, claiming that Saudi Arabia is leading a coalition defeating Iran in Yemen.
In his comments reported by Zaid Benjamin, Al-Hurra Channel Washington correspondent, the Israeli minister said "the Iranians want to dominate. They are in Iraq, Syria and Yemen and they want to reach Bahrain and Saudi Arabia."
He further stated that Iran is being defeated in Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition.
The Bahraini Foreign Minister, Khalid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, announced in an interview with Sky channel that Bahrain and Gulf counties are negotiating to buy an Iron Dome (missile defence system) from Israel.
Since Western countries leaned towards settling the Iranian nuclear issue, the Gulf States have been leaning towards forming a new coalition with Israel to confront Iran's aspirations.
