PHOTOS: Qom Hawza Demonstrates in Solidarity with Sheikh Isa Qassim

Bahrain Mirror: The Hawza of Qom [Islamic teachings university] held a gathering in solidarity with Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, amid a mass participation from Shiite students of religious sciences and Islamic scholars.
In the gathering, which was held in the Faydiya School on Tuesday (September 6, 2016), participants confirmed that Sheikh Isa Qassim has religious immunity, stressing that the Hawza will not remain silent in the face of any attack against him by the Bahraini authorities.
Among the participants in this solidarity sit-in was the Secretary-General of the Ahlulbayt Assembly (PBUT), Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Scientific Hawza Ayatollah Sheikh Reda Astadi, and member of the governing body of the Assembly of Experts, Sayyed Ahmad Khatami.
Also present was deputy President of the Modarrisin University Ayatollah Mortada Moktadaei, and Head of the Qom Hawza, Sheikh Ahmad Farakh Fal, and heads and members of research centers and organizations, from around the country and region.
This demonstration coincides with the launch of the new Hawza year, where around 86 thousand religious scholars are attending the Islamic Hawza in Qom.
For his part, President of the Modarrisin University issued a statement announcing that next Friday; a mass demonstration will be led after Friday prayers, in condemnation of the latest abuses against Ayatollah Qassim.
