6 HR Org. Urge UN S-G to Urgently Interfere to Halt Execution of Death Sentences in Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: Six human rights organizations issued an urgent appeal to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres urging him to immediately interfere to stop the execution of death sentences issued against 3 detainees accused of killing an Emirati officer while dispersing a protests in Manama in 2014.
The statement read "Given the seriousness of death penalty file in Bahrain and concerns about executing this punishment against the prisoners of conscience: Sami Mushaima, Ali Al-Singace and Abbas Al-Samea, we ask you your excellency to urgently and immediately interfere to release the detainees, abolish the verdicts issued against them and stop allowing the Bahraini authorities to change the right of life into one of the violable rights while disregarding the International Bill of Human Rights."
The signatories are: Bahrain Forum for Human Rights, Bahrain Human Rights Society, Bahrain Human Rights Observatory, Salam for Democracy and Human Rights, European Bahraini Organization for Human Rights and Bahraini German Organization for Human Rights and Democracy.
