2 to 5 Years of Prison for 3 Interior Ministry Employees over Tampering with Fingerprint Device

Bahrain Mirror: The fifth High Criminal Court ruled the imprisonment of two defendants for 2 years, while sentenced another one to 5 years in prison, in a case accusing 3 Interior Ministry employees of tampering with the fingerprint device installed to register the presence and departure of employees.
The court accused the defendants that during the months of September and October 2016, the first defendant tampered with the data of the device, and entered the registration numbers for both the second and third defendants without their presence. The other two defendants were also accused of the same.
