Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals presided over by judge Ibrahim Al-Zayed and memberships of Dia'a Huraidi and Salah Rizk and Yousif Bu Hardan as a secretariat rejected the appeals of a suspect and that of 4 other appellants and upheld sentencing them to 3 years in prison over a case linked to injuring an officer in Al-Daih Blast.
The Fourth High Criminal Court had sentenced 5 suspects to 3 years in prison and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The Public Prosecution accused the 5 suspects, whose ages range between 15 and 17 years, that on November 22, 2014, they, along with other unknowns, deliberately set fire to movables that would put people's lives and money to danger, for a terrorist aim, took part in an assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at disrupting public peace and acquired Molotov.
The authorities claim that they received a notice from Khamis police station stating that a blast took place near the traffic light of Al-Daih Street and an officer was slightly injured as a result. Investigations were carried on and authorities could reach the suspects.
