Bahraini National Democratic Movement Forces Stand in Solidarity with Palestinian Prisoners

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini National Democratic Movement Forces organized a hunger strike event in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners, under the name of "Freedom and Dignity Strike" on Saturday (May 13, 2017) in Wa'ad Society in Umm Al Hassam. Progressive Democratic Tribune, Bahrain democratic youth society, Bahraini Society Against Normalization with Zionist Enemy and the Unitary National Democratic Assemblage delivered speeches with voicing solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike.
Deputy S-G of political affairs in the Progressive Democratic Tribune Falah Hashem opened the event saying "the dignity strike has started 27 days ago in order to stop the violations against them. Palestinians proceed in their struggle by their courageous steadfastness, noting that about 1700 detainees are taking part in the strike in over dozen prisons." Hashem added "Proceeding in our Bahraini people's stance in supporting the Palestinian cause, and in line with the solidarity stance taken by Bahraini National Democratic Movement Forces with Palestine, we stand today in solidarity with our brothers prisoners in the Israeli prisons, stressing the centrality of the Palestinian issue." "We call on all Palestinian forces to put an end to divisions and unite all forces and efforts for the sake of their national cause," he further stressed.
Hashem concluded his speech declaring support and solidarity with "the humanitarian demands of the prisoners, which call for allowing periodic family visits, receiving medical care and ending solitary confinement and torture," also demanding the release of prisoners.
