Bahrain Mirror: A military court in Bahrain postponed on Monday (November 13, 2017) the trial of 9 citizens until November 20 for political reasons.
The authorities accuse Sayed Alawi Sayed Hussain, Sayed Fadil Sayed Abbas, Mohammed Al-Matghawi, Mohammed Al-Shehabi, Montadher Fawzi, Hussain Al-Shehabi, Mohammed Al-Ajami, Mohammed Al-Najjar and Hussain Issam of "attempting to target facilities belonging to the Bahrain Defense Force."
Some of the defendants were subject to forced disappearance for almost a year without having any contact with their families or lawyers, a move denounced by international human rights organizations.
Earlier this year, the constitution was amended allowing military courts to try civilians.
Last week, the military court decided to turn the trial of the nine citizens to a secret one, and banned releasing any news about the case.
