Bahrain Mirror: Minister of Justice Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa said that about 3250 members of the dissolved political opposition societies are banned from running to the Parliamentary elections, pursuant to a bill approved by the council on Tuesday.
Al-Wefaq has 3000 members, meanwhile members of the Islamic Action Association (Amal) and Democratic Action Society (Wa'ad) don't exceed 250 members, MP Majed Al-Majed quoted the minister.
The government dissolved opposition societies based on their demands to achieve political reforms and put an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power.
