Ali Mushaima Launches Hunger Strike in front of Bahrain Embassy in London Demanding Treatment to his Detained Father

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini activist Ali Mushaima started a hunger strike in front of the Bahraini embassy in London, demanding to provide treatment to his prominent dissident father, Hassan Mushaima.
Mushaima suffers from cancer and he has been in prison since more than 7 years. He was arrested over leading 14th February protests in 2011. His London-based son, Ali, said that his father is dying slowly, as a result of being deprived from treatment, noting his old age (70 years).
Ali said "I will spend days and nights hungry and will sleep in the open air" in order to have my request met.
Activist Ali Mushaima also demanded to allow his father meet his family who have been denied his visit for one and a half year. He also demanded to return his father's books, including the holy Qur'an and Dua'a, and stop the ongoing harassment and violations against him.
Mushaima said that this his is the first protest step he takes and that he will spare no effort to defend his father "even if this cost me my life and freedom. Allah is rescuer".
It is to mention that the British police arrived to Mushaima's protest site and talked to him.
