US State Department Condemns Torture in Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The US State Department condemned human rights violations in Bahrain, which include arbitrary arrest, detention of political prisoners and torture.
The Al-Jazeera account broadcast parts of the US State Department's annual report, confirming that Bahrain imposes significant restrictions on freedom of movement, including travel bans and citizenship revocation.
The report also stated that the government is heavily interfering in the rights of peaceful assembly and imposing restrictions on independent organizations.
