Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary-General, Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi, criticized the King's decision to hold the Jafaria Endowments (Waqf) economically responsible for returning Bahraini citizens stranded in Iran after the outbreak of the coronavirus there.
In the first response to the king's decision, Al-Daihi, said via his Twitter account "It is strange that the Bahraini regime is evading its responsibilities towards the citizens, as those stuck in Iran are being handled by the Jafaria endowments. Has the endowments become a Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take upon returning citizens stuck abroad?
"Putting responsibility on the Jafaria administration, while this is not under its range of responsibilities, reveals the regime's escape from its responsibilities and its attempt to not deal with the issue of Bahrainis stuck due to the spread of the coronavirus," Sheikh Al-Daihi stated.
