Bahrain Admits Naturalizing Pakistanis Involved in Kidnapping and Forgery

Bahrain Mirror: Commenting on reports in Pakistani media, Bahrain admitted that it naturalized two Pakistanis involved in cases including child abduction.
Director-General of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security announced that concerning a circulated video on Social media in Pakistan about Bahrainis of Pakistani origin. They were involved in abduction and forgery cases. The International and Interpol Affairs Directorate highlighted that the two individuals are wanted for abducting a girl and forging an official document by naming her after a couple who isn't her parents. They are sentenced to 12 years in jail.
He said that Bahrain Interpol has taken the legal proceedings and contacted Islamabad Interpol about the crimes of the two fugitives for their arrest in Pakistan. The directorate also coordinates with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and Red Notices were issued in this regards.
Pakistani media have reported that Pakistanis involved in serious crimes, including children abduction, were granted citizenship by Bahrain.
Bahrain naturalizes tens of thousands of Pakistanis to serve in the army and Interior Ministry with the aim of changing the country's demographics and relying on them to face protests calling for political reform.
