Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Shura Council members rejected in their session a parliamentary law that they dubbed "an attempt to have parliamentarians interfere in the executive authority jurisdictions."

The law, voted on by the members of parliament, imposes that the government specifies a deadline for the implementation of any proposal that meets approval.

Shura member Fouad Haji believed that the law is a blatant interference in another authority's jurisdiction, and a blatant violation of the constitution.

On his part, Ahmad al-Haddad believed that the political system in Bahrain is based on the separation of three authorities, and interference in one another's jurisdictions should not be allowed.
