The shattering and disdainful event can never be erased from memory, despite the coverups and intimidation. Unless addressed, it will be recalled every time differently, and its victims will continue to recharge themselves year after year to come back to the surface.

Activists said that the security authorities released 3 children who were arrested on the ninth anniversary of February 14 uprising. The authorities accused the 3 children of assembling and suspended them for one week pending investigation.

Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society expressed "sincere greetings, appreciation and gratitude to the great people of Bahrain, with all its men, women, young people and elders for their active participation in the ninth anniversary of the popular movement in Bahrain."

Nine years have passed since the eruption of the February 14 uprising. Only the name of Bahrain is left untouched; as the country has turned into a police state devoid of any political parties, opposition, independent civil organizations, a powerful legislative authority, journalists, voices, opinions or freedoms. It has become a country with no future.

Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society organized an event entitled "On the Road to Victory" in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, which was attended by a number of political, religious and social figures, in addition to a number of activists and interested parties.

President of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights (BFHR), Baqir Darwish, announced in a press conference held by three human rights organizations on Thursday (February 13, 2020) in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, entitled "Evaluation of violations in Bahrain during 2019" that: "In the first 6 months of 2019, 349 people, including 20 children and 3 women, were arbitrarily arrested."

The opposition is required to multiply its efforts and overcome the causes of division, said Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim in an address he delivered last night marking the ninth anniversary of the Bahraini February 14th uprising that erupted in 2011. He also called on all parties of the opposition to work under the umbrella of the peaceful approach.
