Bahrain Mirror: Security forces stormed into an apartment in Diraz, in which American citizens are residing based on preliminary information.

Police cordoned off the premises in the Haidaria neighborhood near Diraz elementary school, on Monday, accompanied by an armored vehicle, helicopter and a civilian group, before raiding the residence.

The residents of the area stated that six young Americans are living the apartment, which they leased recently. It is not clear; however, whether the information is accurate, and no official statement has been released yet.

Moreover, "Diraz Village News" account on Twitter confirmed that the building which lies near the house of top Shiite cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qasem was raided by security forces, noting that "young Americans" reside in that building.
