6 Million Saudis Enter Bahrain via Causeway & 2 Million Leave by Airport in 2014

Bahrain Mirror: The executive director of the Bahrain Airport Company Mohammad Al-Banflah revealed that over two million Saudi nationals left Bahrain through the airport from the eastern region of the kingdom, pointing out that they represent 20% of the overall number of travelers that exceeded 8 million during last year (2014).
A Bahrain official, in an interview with the Saudi Al-Riyadh newspaper, said that 6.600 million crossed the King Fahd Causeway during 2014, including 6 million Saudis, highlighting that the Bahrain airport is being expanded and developed, and the improvements are expected to be completed within a period of three years.
