Policeman Convicted of Beating Prisoner Sentenced to 3 Months in Prison instead of 2 Years

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Second High Criminal Court commuted on Monday (March 7, 2016) the sentence issued against a policeman convicted of beating one of the prisoners from two years to three months.
Member of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Bahrain's Public Prosecution, Mohammed Al-Hazaa, announced that the Ninth Minor Criminal Court issued a verdict sentencing an accused policeman to 2 years over the charge of the violation of bodily integrity.
The Rehabilitation and Reform Center had filed a report stating that a policeman violated the bodily integrity of a convict on November 15, 2015 and linked a video to the complaint showing the suspect while he was attacking the victim.
