Public Prosecution Detains Head of Ulama Islamic Council for 15 Days

Bahrain Mirror: The public prosecution decided to detain the head of the dissolved Ulama Islamic Council, Sayyed Majeed Al-Mashaal, for 15 days.
Forces affiliated to the ministry of interior arrested Al-Mashaal on Saturday (July 30, 2016) after raiding his house in the morning.
The Director-General Director of the Northern Governorate Police announced on Sunday (July 31, 2016) the arrest of Majeed Al-Mashaal for inciting others to break the law and take part in an illegal gathering.
He explained that "though Al-Mashaal had been summoned previously and he was presented before the Public Prosecutor, he had continued to engage in the illegal activity."
