Bahrain Mirror: No news were reported about Shiite cleric Sheikh Bashar Al-A'ali after he was summoned by the security authorities to Al-Budai police station on Thursday, July 20, 2017.

Security forces affiliated to the Ministry of Interior surrounded Al-A'ali's house and gave him subpoena to immediately go to the center without mentioning the reasons.

It is to mention that the regime courts fined Al-A'ali 50.000 BD after convicting him of charges related to freedom of opinion and expression. The Public Prosecution claimed that the charges include insults to the authorities.
