Bahrain Mirror: The National Islamic Al-Wefaq Society, the largest opposition group in Bahrain, confirmed that the spiritual leader of the Shiite majority, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, was taken to hospital this morning.

A brief statement was issued by Al-Wefaq saying that Ayatollah Qasim was taken to the hospital "by his family" at about 9 am on Monday (December 4, 2017).

The statement; however, did not mention to which hospital Qassim was admitted or any other details.
