Customs: E-Payment Surges 181 Percent in a Month

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Customs Affairs recorded a considerable rise in electronic payments through the billing system, which increased 181% in January compared to December.
The Customs Affairs said electronic payment transactions amounted to BD 2,845,714.69 in January 2018, an increase of 181% compared to December of last year.
The number of successful transactions by electronic payment amounted to 25,676, i.e. 54% compared to December of last year.
