Bahraini Detainee Suffers Heart Attack Requiring Admittance to Hospital

Bahrain Mirror: Human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh said that detainee Fawziya Mashala (55 years) suffered from heart attack on Sunday (March 11, 2018) which left her unconscious.
Al-Saegh said that Mashala was transferred to Al-Qalaa hospital to receive treatment.
Mashala was arrested last December over charges of harboring activists wanted by authorities.
The Public Prosecution renewed her detention on March 4 until May 20 after it refused a request to release her on a bail due to her health conditions.
Al-Saegh said that Mashala's health conditions due to her age requires her release.
