Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi said that Al-Wefaq has monitored in its records 49,000 protests demanding democracy and building of a state of justice since 2011.
He added in a tweet on Twitter that this number of protests comes despite the ban imposed on freedom of assembly and crackdown practiced by the authorities on these protests.
Bahraini authorities have imposed a total ban on freedom of assembly in Bahrain since December 2014 after harassing opposition national groups and preventing them from holding rallies.
